Since March 20th, 2003 iraqbodycount.org have recorded around 100,000 civilian deaths in Iraq.

Having watched 7 episodes of Generation Kill, almost back to back, the one thought you are left with is the civilian body count. In the final scene, even the marines of 1st Recon find it hard to celebrate their mission as no-one is sure what they have achieved. And today, 6 years later – we are still none the wiser.
